Period Poverty.
Whilst doing work for the brick I was made aware of this brief. Women at the brick noticed there was an over abundance of sanitary products and realised it was due to a stigma around the female period. This poster campaign is to bring into front view the word period and female products to show that there is no need to hide the products or be afraid what others think as it is a product every women needs. The poster is to let less fortunate women know that products are available from the food bank and to just simply ask.
Card and Merch.
The idea behind the card, it is designed like a contraceptive pill so it is easily recognisable by women however, the main reason for the card and keyring is to discreetly get sanitary products due to some women too embarrassed to ask for them. Members who give the products will simply see either the card or keyring and give the person sanitary products discreetly in a bag, no questions asked.
The Brick Project.
The Brick is a local charity who asked our degree group to help raise awareness of who they are and their location. They also wanted us to create or design anything we thought would help them, this could include a website update, a new logo, an awareness campaign etc. Personally I created a social and printed media campaign as the prick is for the less fortunate so the printed media made are sense. I also created sub brand logos for their most known activities. These logos was the centre piece of the campaign.
Wigan Christmas Cracker!
The Christmas Cracker is a yearly Christmas tradition which includes the switching on of the Wigan town Christmas lights. This comes along side a preformance from various artists and a reindeer parade for children. The task was to make a new poster which acted like a template that could be easily changed. As well as a poster they wanted a social media countdown and a Facebook/Twitter banner.
PAP
This was a very small brief from the college. They simply wanted a new logo for the arts department that was updated and could be used throughout all courses.
